The art of glamor – that's what inspired us when it came to the visuals for our Fall/ Winter collections. Read: everything from the coolest star around to jumbo beads, checkerboard floors, an awe-inspiring wardrobe, and a bold, unexpected color palette. See how our incredible (mainly) female-led team of creatives brought this season to life.
Mia Regan, Our Star
Introducing our friend and newest muse who inspires us on the daily with her creativity and iconic style. A model, content creator and all-round creative force, Mia designed her first fashion collection – in collaboration with Victoria Beckham – last year, having also worked with the likes of Fendi, Balmain, Gucci Beauty, and Net-A-Porter.
The TikTok superstar has breathed new life into high-fashion through a Gen Z lens, and now she’s doing the same for jewelry. For this campaign, Mia was super involved in the creative side too: everything from curating her jewellery looks side-by-side with our founder, Marisa Hordern, to brainstorming the conceptual set. The shoot was heavily inspired by Mia’s aesthetic and style, a real reflection of her identity. We can't stop, won't stop fan-girling.
Donna Wallace, Stylist
When it came to working out who would helm our wardrobe department, Donna was a no-brainer – an aficionado of tailoring, confidence in color, texture and dimension. This fashion icon knows glamor, plus her eye for detail is unrivaled, along with her love for accessories. “I adore clothes but the nerd in me loves the details of accessories: the craftsmanship and the functionality,” she told Matches recently.
Becky Garner, Director and Editor
Bringing her signature mixed media and motion graphic style to our collections, Becky was the visionary behind turning Missoma FW’23 from a concept into the film of our dreams. She’s previously worked with Reebok US, FarFetch, Nike and Adidas, while also creating content for musicians from Zara Larsson to Bicep (talk about an impressive portfolio).
Bryony Edwards, Set Designer
Only one name came to mind for our set-up. We’ve worked with Bryony for a while now, constantly in awe of her drive and creativity; the London-based set designer works across fashion and still life, instilling her on-set magic for publications from Elle to Esquire. Her impressive roster also features Stella McCartney, Burberry, Agent Provocateur and Matches. A one-of-a-kind creative, we look to Bryony as the ultimate building block of our vision (plus, anyone who brings us jumbo beads is our kind of person).
Aimee Twist, Make-Up Artist
The queen of 90s-style make-up, Aimee looks to celestial eyes full of shimmer and bold matte eyeshadow for a fresh, modern take on the nostalgic. She started out on a make-up counter but soon worked her way up to shoots for publications and brands such as Vogue, Clash, Metal, Harper’s Bazaar, and the iconic Juicy Couture. 'Beauty has no rules' is a motto she swears by, and we dig it.
Ethan Porter, Behind the Scenes
Passionate about storytelling, Ethan’s work covers a wide variety of styles while always purveying a strong narrative. He has a gift for stylised editorial which he brought to life with our behind the scenes snaps on shoot.
Harry Steele, DOP
Cinematography is a real talent and no one does it better than Harry, whether it’s music videos for Two Door Cinema Club and Circa Waves – or bringing his visual magic to the jewelry sphere. We appreciate you.
