Our partnership with fashion designer, Harris Reed, is one that’s gone from strength to strength – beginning as a friendship, leading to a collaboration and into best selling jewelry styles loved by VIPs and you alike. Let’s take it back to where it all began.
2020 – 2021: Marisa and Harris Dream Big
When our founder Marisa first met gender-fluid fashion designer Harris Reed years ago, they both knew it was a serendipitous encounter. Conversations followed about what would happen if you took Harris’s vision and made it accessible by creating jewelry for everyone?
The idea of a collection was born. Producing it provided quite the feat, conceptualised during lockdown, with ideas and samples transported between Harris and Missoma’s London studio via Zoom and bike messengers.
September 2021: Harris Reed x Missoma Launches
The first time Harris has ever forayed into the jewelry space, our first collection launched with 51-piece demi-fine collection and 15-piece fine capsule. The gothic themes and symbols take from ‘the old world’ and stand for the future as new heirlooms of fluidity and inclusivity.
The dual-gender butterfly can be seen throughout, a beautifully transformative creature that represents the journey to accepting the true versions of yourself. Other bespoke emblems include serpents, daggers, Georgian hands, lockets inspired by the opulent ceiling of London’s Royal Opera House, and labradorite gemstone styles with iridescence that feels truly otherworldly.
While the demi-fine pieces are crafted from recycled sterling silver, recycled 18k gold vermeil and gold plating. Harris Reed x Missoma Fine is refined in 14k solid recycled gold, blue sapphire and conflict-free white and black diamonds.
Directed by Ruth Hogben, the campaign film invited our community to step into the Harris Reed x Missoma world. It took inspiration from the butterfly, a beautifully fluid creature that represents transformation and the journey to accepting the true versions of yourself. Talents featured in the campaign are Harris himself, street cast models Najmo, Ruby, Samuel, Tom L, Pea, Abuk, Sira and Missoma house model Adam – all styled by the incredible Harry Lambert.
September – October 2021: Events in London and Los Angeles
In London, we took to The Old Sessions house for an opulent dinner. Patron provided classic tequila based cocktails, while the incredible artist Honey Mooncie performed. Live harpist and candles decorated the room to give the dinner the perfect ambiance.
Over in Los Angeles, our event took place at the magical Houdini Estate, with cocktails by Yola Mezcal – run by women and bottled by women. Guests were treated to Moses’ show-stopping performance.
2021 – 2022: Spotted On
The In Good Hands Pearl Necklace has sold out five times over, spotted with the rest of the collection on everyone from Billie Eilish to Gigi Hadid, Bella Hadid, Joan Collins, Olly Alexander, Emma Watson, Ncuti Gatwa and Anya Taylor Joy. Harris himself wears the collection on repeat, while styling the sell-out pieces to complete the looks of his famous clients – from Adele to Sam Smith.
November 2021: In the Wild
Not only were our favorite VIPs spotted in the collection, but Harris Reed x Missoma was also seen out in the wild in London and New York on billboards and buses. We know, pinch us.
February 2022: In Good Hands in LFW
The ‘In Good Hands’ emblem appeared in Reed’s 2022 London Fashion Week show entitled 60 Years A Queen, inspired by Sir Herbert Maxwell’s book of the same name. Later, Kendall Jenner wore the look on the cover of Pop Magazine.

September 2022: Taking London Fashion Week
In our anniversary month we presented a one-of-a-kind wearable art piece for Harris’ show. The bespoke garment took jewelry to brand new heights with meaningful elements adorning the fluid fashion piece.
It was handcrafted in Italy by artisans famous for creating high-fashion couture. Within the design our Crescent Moon and North Star motifs could be found, plus our Georgian-inspired hand holding a baroque pearl.
The title of Harris' incredible show 'MISE EN SCÈNE' referenced the collective effort, community and collaboration that goes into every Harris Reed collection.
I love to walk the line between wearable art, but also creating pieces that people can wear in their everyday life too. Working with Missoma allows me to make this dream come true.

February 2023: Beaded Gemstone Styles
We added even more meaning to our Icon – the In Good Hands necklace – teaming the Georgian-inspired hands with semi-precious gemstones. Tap into the power of gems ranging from amazonite and pearls to black onyx, orange chalcedony, aquamarine, white quartz, labradorite and more. Spiritually-charged stones to protect, heal, guide and enlighten.
September 2023: A Celestial Duet
At London Fashion Week, Harris Reed shone with his SS'24 collection show 'Duet', a black and white Old Hollywood dream paying homage to glamorous and exaggerated femininity.
The collection title ‘Duet’ refers to the feminine and masculine, and to a form of collaboration. We were lucky enough to be not only in the crowd, but also part of the magic, creating a wearable art piece for the show – designed by Harris, inspired by our collections, namely our Crescent Moon Pearl Necklace.
