Get to Know: Eny Lee Parker
Introducing Eny Lee Parker x Missoma, where sculpture meets jewelry. Eny is a New York ceramicist and multidisciplinary artist who our founder Marisa – a lover of all things interiors – has long adored. A true artist and creative visionary, it was Eny’s Oo lamp which first caught Marisa’s eye, followed by her Puffy Daisy sconces which now hold a prominent space in our founder's home – and have inspired our new collection. “I just admire Eny's eye and aesthetic so much,” Marisa says.
Traditional craftsmanship with a focus on slowness, intention, and a deep respect for natural resources, that's what Eny's known for in her lighting and furniture designs. And we're not the only ones to be enamored with her: Her work has been featured in publications such as The New York Times T Magazine, Vogue, Elle Decor, Architecture Digest, and more.
Championing creatives is in our DNA, which is why this partnership feels so organic. We spoke to the incredible Eny about our new collaboration, plus her style, design process, and how New York inspires her.

Missoma: Can you tell us about your career so far? What's your signature design style?
Eny Lee Parker: My career has been very DIY. I tend to focus more on the people I get to work with rather than the specific product or project. I’ve been lucky to collaborate with amazing friends and the creative community, building relationships that have lasted over time. I’m not sure if I have a signature design style just yet, but I try to keep a playful spirit in everything I create. My pieces can be a little kitschy, but I always consider proportion, materiality, and colour to bring everything together.
M: Talk to us about the collaboration.
ELP: Marisa (Missoma's founder) is such a wonderful person – she leads her team really well. Plus, I genuinely love jewelry. I’ve always said that lighting is like the jewelry of a space. Both jewelry and lighting are about how they emit something, whether it’s light or personal expression, and how they can be designed and worn (or used) in different ways. There’s a natural connection between the two, which makes this collaboration really exciting.
M: Can you describe your design process to us?
ELP: It’s never linear. I love a good design brief – when I collaborate with a brand, I really enjoy merging my artistic language with theirs. But when I’m designing my own pieces, it’s more personal – I think about what I’d want to live with, whether in my New York apartment or my farmhouse in Connecticut. I pull a lot of old, archived images for inspiration and love playing with scale to bring something that feels just a little off to any space.

M: What inspired you to create your Puffy Daisy sconces?
ELP: The Puffy Daisy Sconce was kind of an in-between piece – combining our best-selling Blob Sconce and Daisy Sconce. I wanted to soften the literal shape of a daisy so it feels more subtle in a space while still keeping the sweetness and charm of the original design.
M: How did you translate your designs into our jewelry collaboration?
ELP: A lot of my lighting is already inspired by jewelry, so it felt natural to bring that back into an actual wearable product. I focused on keeping the same curvature and softness from the sconces throughout the collection, making sure the pieces feel fluid and connected.
M: What about living in New York City inspires you?
ELP: The people. I love how driven and creative everyone is. New York really is a hub, and my favorite part of owning a business here is being able to tap into the community –collaborating, learning from each other, and building something together.

M: What're your favorite pieces from the collection and why?
ELP: The large hoop earrings are my favorite. They just feel very me – I love big silver hoops! Playful, bold, and easy to style with different outfits.
