A CIRCULAR FUTURE

Every brand has deadstock — for us it's pieces that are broken or damaged beyond repair, or have gone out of sellable stock. For our first steps into circularity, we want to make sure we never waste a scrap of metal.

This year we're aiming to ensure our deadstock is either re-used, re-purposed, donated or upcycled into new designs, with the remaining pieces scrapped and turned into recycled metals.

UPCYCLING COLLAB: THE DEADSTOCK PROJECT

We kicked off our first-ever upcycling collaboration in 2022 with Central Saint Martins, University of the Arts London (UAL). The MA Design students worked with hundreds of our deadstock jewelry pieces — originally worth over £300,000 — to create their own unique upcycled designs. Discover our winner, her winning designs, plus stay in the loop for all the updates.

CHARITY DONATIONS

We've partnered with women's charity SmartWorks and donated over £100,000 worth of end-of-line jewelry to the women in their community — empowering them with the 'armour' to go into interviews with self-belief and confidence. This will be an ongoing partnership where we can champion communities while giving our pre-loved jewelry a new lease of life.

OH, THIS? IT'S RENTED

One of the ways we're supporting and celebrating circular fashion is by providing circular experiences with rental platforms. We’ve teamed up with Hurr and Rent the Runway to give our community a short-term, more sustainable option for wearing Missoma.
