We've always been committed to using recycled metals, recyclable packaging, and responsibly-sourced materials in as much of our production as possible. This is an ongoing mission for us. Each of our six factories are certified by the Responsible Jewelry Council, meaning they have an obligation to source only the most sustainable materials.
As an industry, finding fully traceable gemstones is currently almost impossible. One of our 2023 goals is to map out the full picture of our gemstone journey, so we can have more visibility on where they come from and make more sustainable choices. Our focus continues to be on recycled metals, as they have significantly less of a negative impact on the environment compared to raw mined metal. We understand, however, that it's extremely difficult to measure the precise unit of that impact.
ALL OUR GOLD VERMEIL, STERLING SILVER, AND SOLID GOLD jewelry IS HANDCRAFTED FROM 100% RECYCLED METALS.
Our current packaging is recyclable, reusable, and biodegradable. We also offset any residual carbon emissions created by our packaging process with reforestation projects.
Let's break it down:
All six of our suppliers are Responsible Jewelry Council certified and source the gemstones we use responsibly. Our diamonds are all conflict-free and Kimberley Process approved.
At this time it's virtually impossible to know the exact mining information for each stone. One of our goals for 2023 is to map the supply chain for our gemstones so we have more visibility on where they are mined from.
